Saffronart and Apparao Galleries present Works on Paper: Apparao Art for Education, an exhibition on display at the Saffronart gallery in New Delhi. Included are over 70 works by significant names in modern and contemporary Indian art, such as S H Raza, Ram Kumar, Nasreen Mohamedi, K Ramanujam, Arpita Singh, Thota Vaikuntam, and Maya Burman. These works have been curated by Sharan Apparao, founder of Apparao Galleries, from among a vast collection of art, painstakingly built over the last four decades. The proceeds of the sale will go towards bringing to life Apparao's vision to build an educational infrastructure for the public to learn and engage with the arts.
