We at Pratham believe that the value of education simply cannot be over-stated. India is a country of young people. Today, over 35% of India’s population is below the age of 20. By 2020, it is expected that 325 million people will reach working age, which will be the largest in the world.

It is genuinely awe inspiring to witness the Indian art world and partners like Saffronart united in support of the great cause of literacy through Pratham.

Let us continue with this critical goal of erasing illiteracy in India and ensuring that every child is not only in school but also learning well.
