Known as one of the most comprehensive and definitive sources for modern and contemporary Indian art, Saffronart has made reach to Indian art simple and instantaneous. We are also involved in several activities that encourage the development of Indian contemporary art and provide greater exposure to its artists to an international audience.

Saffronart's sixth online auction features 110 Lots by 41 established and emerging artists of Indian contemporary fine art. The auction will take place exclusively on www.saffronart.com allowing serious collectors as well as first time bidders, world wide, to place their bids over a period of four days as opposed to a few hours in a live auction giving more decision making flexibility.

Saffronart will also preview a selection of paintings in its Gallery in Mumbai to provide bidders with an opportunity to view select Lots. The Gallery is an exceptional exhibition space that offers not only a large display area, but also a lounge where visitors can browse through material related to the current exhibition and reference books for use by prior appointment. The Gallery will be open from 11: 00 am to 6: 30 pm Monday through Saturday.

You can also walk in during gallery hours between 11:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Saturday.

Auction Pre-registration

You must be registered and verified for the Saffronart auction in order to bid. If you are already a registered user, you will still have to pre-register for the auction and accept the terms and conditions of sale, but you may login and participate using your Saffronart login id. Once you pre-register, a Saffronart representative will verify your details prior to giving you bidding access. You will be sent an email confirming your bidding authorization along with your login id and password. Bidders are advised to pre-register at least 12 hours prior to the start of the auction so that bidding access is available at the start of the auction.
