Published along with Marg magazine Vol. 31 No. 3 (June 1978), this book was among the first of the publisher's hardcover editions that began accompanying its magazines in 1976. Edited by Mulk Raj Anand, who founded Marg in 1946, this book is a tribute to Raja Dinkar Kelkar and his vast collection of art and cultural objects from around the country, housed in his museum in Pune. Apart from Anand's editorial and texts by Jyotindra Jain and Jutta-Jain Neubauer, the book includes a note on the origins of the collection by Raja Dinkar Kelkar himself. This particular edition has also been signed, dated and inscribed by Kelkar to 'Mrs. Bamji, Director General of Tourism, Government of India'.
