All JAR pieces are unique, designed individually by Joel Arthur Rosenthal and never reproduced. This book was originally released to coincide with the exhibition `The Jewels of JAR Paris`, which opened on November 2, 2002, at Somerset House, London. Showcasing over 400 of JAR`s creations, photographed under his exacting supervision, this rare, out of print volume is a true collector`s piece. Adding to the rarity of this book is the fact that after its publication, JAR decided never to publish his designs again, making this the first and last publication and documentation of his work.
