Suresh Choudhary was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He studied at the Fine Arts College in Indore and then received a degree from the Sir J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai. A prolific artist, Suresh has participated in numerous solo and group shows across the country including the IV Bharat Bhawan Biennial of Contemporary Indian Art (1992), Bhopal; Aifacs Golden Jubilee 7th International Contemporary Art Exhibition, New Delhi; Combined camp of painters, sculptors, graphic artists and ceramic artists organized by Lalit Kala Academy (1976-77), New Delhi; All India artist camp organized by MP Kala Parishad (1976), MP; Gujarat Lalit Kala Acacdemy Group show of young painters etc.
He was the recipient of numerous awards and accolades including the Amrita Shergil Fellowship by the Government of Madhya Pradesh 1978-79; the Fellowship in Creative painting by the Government of India 1984-85. His works are found in many private collections in India and abroad (USA, France, Norway, Dubai, England, France, West Germany , USSR, Canada). Many corporate houses such as the Air India, Bharat Eartth Movers, Cipla, Union Carbide, Indian Oil and HUDCO also house his works.
