Prabhakar Patil is a Maharashtrian artist whose works are influenced by everything from old Marathi films to the courtyard of his childhood waada. His lyrical compositions reflect nostalgia and a longing for the past, recreating the harmony of the world on canvas. The artist is presently a professor at the Sir J J School of Art in Mumbai.
