Born in 1978, Benitha Perciyal received a BFA, followed by an MFA in Painting and Printmaking in 2002, from the Government College of Arts and Crafts in Chennai. Perciyal has won several awards and scholarships, the most recent one being the “Promising Artist Award” in 2006. She lives and works in Chennai.
