Initially selling through department stores like Bergdorf Goodman, David Webb Inc. opened its first by-appointment retail salon in New York in 1963. Although its ateliers and flagship store are in New York, the exclusive firm also has a salon in Beverly Hills and a large international clientele. After Webb’s death in 1975, the firm came under the management of the Silberstein family, and continues to produce pieces from Webb’s vast archive of designs in their own workshop.
