Of superior craftsmanship, the necklace is a stunning combination of 'jadau'-work, enamel and engraving techniques. A gently graduated row of pearls suspends a central openwork pendant in floral and paisley-like motifs with engraving on gold, set with rose-cut diamonds and spinel beads, further suspending a drop-shaped emerald bead. The reverse has gold enamel on an off-white ground with inlaid spinel cabochons, emerald cabochons and polki diamonds in kundan work with foliate motifs.

Pearls: 29.80 carats
Diamond polki: 7.10 carats
Gross weight: 31.32 grams
