How a Antiques auction works

Step 1- Register as a user on www.saffronart.com

Step 2- Once the auction catalogue is available online, you can pre-register for the auction by clicking on the pre-registration link on our homepage. This must be done before every auction, even if you are already a registered user with Collectibles Antiques.

Step 3- We will verify the information you provide and confirm you as a bidder
Once you have completed the auction pre-registration and accepted Collectibles Antiques Conditions for Sale online, a Saffronart representative will get in touch via telephone or e-mail within 48 hours for additional information and documentation if necessary.
Bidding access will be granted at Collectibles Antiques discretion, once all the necessary information and documents have been provided.

Step 4- Browse the catalogue and bid at auction
Once bidding access is granted, Collectibles Antiques strongly urges bidders to study the catalogue and select lots that are of interest to them before proceeding to bid. Once bidding access is granted, you may log on and place online bids by clicking on the “Bid Now” button next to each lot

Step 5- Pay for the lots and we ship the lots to you on completion of all legal formalities.
Successful bidders will be issued invoices against their purchases and payment may be made as per the Terms & conditions of the sale. Upon receiving the payment in full and completion of the necessary formalities of transfer of ownership under the Antiquities Act, the lots will be shipped to the winning bidder at the address mentioned on the invoice.





Bidding is permitted in Indian rupees only. US dollar values shown, if any, are for reference.
