SAFFRONART IN THE NEWS

London, which this April was rated among the top 10 most important cities for the super rich, has always been an attractive property market for Indians.

And tapping into that market, Saffronart has launched its first London property guide - Saffronart Prime London - that is targeted specifically at Indians looking to buy homes there.

In 2010, the online auction house produced a Prime Property guide (in partnership with Cushman & Wakefield), which listed exclusive properties all across India. With Prime London, Saffronart has gone international.

The guide lists houses in tony London neighbourhoods, including Mayfair, Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge, St John's Wood, Hyde Park and Belgravia.

Saffronart's COO Nish Bhutani explains that without proper guidance, buying in a foreign market can be quite intimidating. "Saffronart has partnered with London property professionals who have been active in the market for decades - and combined it with expertise specific to Indians - to help Indian buyers hit the ground running on their London property hunt," he said in a statement.

The Prime London guide also helps Indian buyers navigate the British property market with insights into the buying process, stages of property purchase, conventions and terminology, legal aspects as well as tax implications and foreign exchange remittance regulations applicable to Indians.
