What is javascript and why do we use it?
Javascript is a technology built into browsers that allows us to improve the user experience by updating information such as auction values or navigation links on our web site without having to re-load the entire page.

Enabling javascript in your browser

  • Select 'Tools' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Internet Options'
  • Click on the 'Security' tab
  • Click on 'Custom Level'
  • Scroll down until you see section labled 'Scripting'
  • Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click OK

  • Select 'Tools' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Internet Options'
  • Click on the 'Security' tab
  • Click on 'Custom Level'
