The wood carving (a) shows Rama with his bow and a quiver of arrows. To his left is his younger brother Lakshmana, standing in Anjali mudra with folded hands, with a bow resting on his shoulder. To Rama's right is his wife, Sita, an avatar of goddess Lakshmi. Being the main figure, Rama is shown larger in size, denoting his importance.

In (b), we see the Kalyanasundara Murti - a famous iconography of Shiva wedding Parvati. Shiva is seen holding his attributes in his rear arms, and with his right arm, he lovingly cups Parvati's cheek. Parvati assumes the sensual tribhanga pose here.
