This vertical panel with lovely sculptural work was once part of a stone door frame. It is one of two such sculpted stone panels that occupied the sides of the frame. The large figure to the left is 'Adhikaranandi' in the female aspect, holding a flower that hangs from a bough. The male figure to the right holds an attribute in his left hand. The figure between them is a dancer. Above them, within pillared sections, the figure in the center is Ganesha in a dancing posture with his trunk going to the ball of sweets in his left hand. A female figure is seen to his right and a playful monkey to his left. A Yaksha can be seen below Ganesha.

Door jambs such as this one originally formed a pair. The corresponding jamb was sold through this auction house in its inaugural auction of 'Indian Antiquities' held on December 13-14 2011 (lot 10).
